Meet Joel Doub

Joel Doub is the other owner of TMR. If you even come to the shop for a tour, you’ll likely see him sitting at the buffing wheel performing final QC before your rod is packaged for shipping. When asked what perfection means to him, Joel says “A rod that doesn’t need to be buffed or sanded anymore.” He takes perfection seriously - no matter who the rod is for.

Asking Joel what his favorite TMR is, you can’t finish the sentence before he says “8’ 6” 6 weight with Loomis ferrules.” Works perfect since his favorite fly is the Dolly Lama.
