This is the perfect rod for hiking to alpine lakes or small remote creeks. The 9' 4wt has a bit more power through the butt for longer casts and easier mends than the 8'6" 4wt. The 904 is a great all-around 4wt. This rod is done on a clear blank with uplocking hardware, an original western cigar grip, and a beautiful, well figured maple burl reel seat insert.
